Well, So I got my camera Cord...

Outfit #1: Admittedly not very creative,
but they will get better and they have been better, just stay tuned.

Looking from living room into the kitchen and through it to the breakfast nook/table area out the front window of the house.

So I got my camera cord ordered from Japan or what not. But, now it turns out I only got one picture of an outfit so far. I, however, now that I can upload them more timely after taking them will have more motivation to remember to take them. But, here are some pics of the house and one outfit. More coming soon. And this time Soon will be as soon as a new day passes and I have a new outfit.

A Shortened Forward

No camera cord yet (sorry, it is coming, I swear)....
However, I did get this forward today from my friend Kerri and some parts of it are quite true. I don't know who wrote it, so I can't give them credit, but here were my favorite parts:
1) I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

2) More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think
about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own
story that's not only better, but also more directly involves me.

3) Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize
you're wrong.

4) I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was
younger.

5) Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldn't
work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically fix
the problem. Every kid in America did that, but how did we all know how to
fix the problem? There was no internet or message boards or FAQ's. We just
figured it out. Today's kids are soft.

6) There is a great need for sarcasm font.

7) How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

8) I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than take
2 trips to bring my groceries in.

9) The only time I look forward to a red light is when I?m trying to finish a
text.

10) Was learning cursive really necessary?

11) How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and
smile because you still didn't hear what they said?

12) Every time I have to spell a word over the phone using 'as in' examples, I
will undoubtedly draw a blank and sound like a complete idiot. Today I had
to spell my boss's last name to an attorney and said "Yes that's G as
in...(10 second lapse)..ummm...Goonies"

13) While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and instinctively
swerved to avoid it...thanks Mario Kart.

14) MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. Pretty sure I know
how to get out of my neighborhood.

15) If Carmen San Diego and Waldo ever got together, their offspring would
probably just be completely invisible.

16) Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go around
and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly nervous?
Like I know my name, I know where I'm from, this shouldn't be a
problem....

17) I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Dammit!),
but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to
voicemail. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run
away?

18) The other night I ordered takeout, and when I looked in the bag, saw they
had included four sets of plastic silverware. In other words, someone at
the restaurant packed my order, took a second to think about it, and then
estimate d that there must be at least four people eating to require such
a large amount of food. Too bad I was eating by myself. There?s nothing
like being made to feel like a fat bastard before dinner.

So True. (if you want the whole forward, I'd be happy to send it to you. Otherwise, hope you enjoyed the highlights.)

something very odd yet cute...

Slight Delay...

Sorry about the pics not being there yet. Let me just tell you, I have located the camera as well as three flashcards for it. However, it does not have a battery nor a battery charger. Finally got those today at Best Buy. Now, I have taken the pictures, but just realized I have also lost the connector cord to the computer for the camera so that will be gotten tomorrow. They are coming, I promise. Oh ya, and the pics of the first day of school on wednesday with my new attire which is not allowed to include t-shirts with printing nor any form or denim on top or bottom. I'm sure you are all eager to see what I come up with. Sorry for the delay.

Wow...Internet...what a novel idea!

K, so we just got moved into Colorado as of a week ago, but Comcast was evidently so popular that they could not install internet nor cable for us until this morning. So, this is the first post in quite a while. As, any free internet we stole we used for my online class and Rob's job applications. Oh, and if you are wondering where the best places are to sit in the parking lot and steal internet (typing in the car is a blast) are near Thornton, CO....Well, I can certainly tell you. As, Old Chicago had the strongest signal of anywhere (near the dumpster in the back, and it was shaded around 2pm). Or, there is always the Liquor Store very near our house and much more convenient. However, it was a bit weaker of a signal and would often be lost at crucial moments of posting job applications. Starbuck's is a freakin' joke. I'll leave it at that for now, and if you really want to know the rest, just ask. So, now that I'm back in the game there will be pics to come this afternoon. Until then, however, a quick update...
House is AMAZING. Getting used to not knowing where exactly each dog and human is in the house just from sitting on the couch. It results in a lot of me yelling "Rob?" and him responding but me not hearing, etc. Then we end up meeting in the hallway and being frustrated at each other that I really didn't need anything. I'm getting better though. Just very odd to go from basically a studio apartment to a house. Oh, and to have a roommate. Or someone who is living in my house with me. Usually just me. Well, the dogs of course, but at this point they seem to be a given. The backyard is awesome. The dogs also agree, especially for their digging hobbies (that will need to be taken care of quickly. But, don't know how to fix it exactly). Although, I do love not having to put them on leashes and walk up and down three flights of stairs to take them out. Rather, I can just open and a shut a door. Perfect. Oh, and there are two and a half bathrooms. So, Rob has his bathroom upstairs with his overly cluttered bedroom and it works out perfect. I get the master bedroom on the main floor with a huge walk-in closet (fits all my clothes) and a quite large bathroom. The loft upstairs has the two brown couches from my old apartment and my desk. Hoping to make that a sort of study area. Anyway, it's like a real house. In a real neighborhood. With real bedrooms. And, real internet, FINALLY. So there is the update for now. Oh, wait, I forgot to mention there is a huge network of paved trails (not sidewalks, like paved paths through public grass area) right outside our door. We've walked the dogs for 7 days now without having a repeat loop. AWESOME. So, now as long as Rob finds a job, we should be good to go. He's in Denver dropping off more applications as we speak, so hopefully he will find one soon. Oh, and we got our colorado licenses and license plates, so we are officially Coloradoans now. Crazy stuff. (Like I said, pictures are coming soon, as soon as I find and unpack the box that was supposed to have my camera in it).
