The pics...found the camera

So these are the spirals most recent. Along with the chaotic spiral room.

And these are the various chaotic views of the house. I left my bedroom out of it because I can barely get in the door. But, use your imagination.

AHHHHHHHH.....Have I lost it Yet? Slightly less than official

So, I am taking a five minute break from running around like a chicken with my head cut-off to sit my butt on the couch and vent. I am nearly finishing the spirals. Nearly being the key word. That means I think I have only 6 more to paint!! I know, that's still a lot, but looks like it may (key word, may) be doable by the time I leave in four days. So, ya, hence the AHHHHHHH. I am leaving Utah in 4 days, have 6 spirals left to paint, and the rest of my house to pack and two online courses to finish and two more to begin the day after the first two end (the 29th). So, it's a good time. My house is absolute disaster zone. But, we're getting there. I have finished the final walk through with the florist/coordinator as well as the sundance catering manager for the wedding. This means we are done with the menu, almost the spirals, and pretty much all of the decisions. Oh, and I got two awesome pettiskirts for the two little flower girls (elise and avril), which I'm very excited about. Ordered table cards and monogrammed napkins, in discussion about the final bouquet as well as possible ice sculptures. Should be good times, and although will prob never really be done I am getting close. Now, just to finish packing my house and move it all to Rob's garage. FUN TIMES. Oh, and pictures of most recent spirals are coming soon. As soon as I hopefully find my camera (that I hopefully did not pack). Lata, for now.

Cow and Stripes...Latest Two

Here are the latest two spirals that are done. I think that brings the final of total done to 9!! Wow, that's half way done, and 7 more days to work on them. Let's hope I can start crankin' them out! I think I'm feelin' quite a bit more splatter painting coming on, so those of you who enjoyed that one, get ready.

Bridals...or Downpour

So, the bridal pictures of myself along with some of myself and Rob took place this lovely afternoon. For those of you who live in Utah, and for those of you who don't, I'll let you know that for the past four days and future four days, this is the forecast: scattered t-storms. Banking on the "scattered" parts of things, I was hoping for a window in the downpour that might allow us to take some good photos. Well, we ultimately got some great photos, but that was after waiting one hour in the car, for the showers to pass. So, we took some pictures along the way. Once we get the real pictures in about two weeks, well then, we will post the link or what not. For now, though, you get the bouquet, and the essence of the craziness that was going on inside the truck with four people crammed in and it pouring outside without a bit of blue sky in sight. However, it worked out and I'm soooooo thankful for that!!! Until then, enjoy these pictures of the day in a nutshell as well as the coolest bouquet ever!!!!!!!!!!!! (well, you know, at least I think it is).
This is barely five minutes into the waiting.

Okay, so we were getting a bit loopy. And, rather than applying the lip gloss, I had no hands with my awesome bouquet and so I was holding it in my mouth. Oh ya, and check the awesome boots. Mind you, my entire dress is shoved into the passenger seat of a tacoma pick-up truck.

This is what the lovely meadow looked like when we arrived. Bright white wedding dress and awesome digging (mud driving) weather...could there be a better match? I think not!!

Good thing this pic was taken about two minutes before the rain stopped and we actually got to take some pictures with the photographer. As if the pictures isn't better than words, I was officially over it.

Boston...graduation/birthday

So this past week I had my birthday (yes, I'm getting old) and it was great. Amber and Rob and myself went to Chimayo (the best restaurant in Park City, UT if you were interested) and had amazing food!!! The next day I was off to Boston to see my bro graduate from Harvard Law School. He is amazing, a great organizer, and the weekend was a blast. He's incredibly smart and a hell of a hard worker, and pretty much a rockstar. I just wish that he perhaps hadn't depleted the gene pool of those traits so that I would have had a few left for myself. Ha. Anyway, the itinerary was all planned by him, and I just basically followed what I was told as far as where to be, what to wear and when to be there. We had a barbeque dinner, commencement, champagne breakfast, drinks on a boat, brunch, Meg's bridal shower, more food, more food, more food and did I mention more food!?! It was all delicious, but unfortunately my bridal's are on this wednesday and I'm not sure the five pounds I put on in Boston were exactly what I needed. haha. At any rate, that is where I've been, but the updates on the project will be coming more frequently now that I'm home and back hard at work.
